At My Secret Corner, we are committed to providing quality furniture and a reliable shopping experience. This policy explains our store’s specific terms regarding deposits, delivery, returns, and exchanges.
Fragile Material & Delivery Damage Policy
Many of our signature dressing tables and furniture pieces are crafted from stone, marble, or glass. While these materials are durable and elegant, they are also naturally more fragile during transportation. To minimise risk, we pack each product in multiple boxes, ensuring better protection and reducing the likelihood of all parts being damaged at once.
In rare cases, if any part arrives damaged during delivery, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the item. We will provide a replacement for the damaged part at no extra cost.

If the damage is minor or limited to one component, we will only replace the affected section rather than the entire set, as additional transport can increase the risk of new damage.

Replacement parts will be dispatched promptly once the damaged items are collected and received at our warehouse.
We understand these situations can be frustrating, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to resolve them as quickly as possible.

If delivered items are faulty, damaged, or incorrect according to your invoice, My Secret Corner will:

Refunds will only be issued when no suitable solution can be provided. All refunds are processed through the original payment method.
Return Instructions: Please adhere to all return instructions sent to your registered email address. All returns must be coordinated through Customer Service. Do not return or post items without obtaining instructions from us first. Unidentified returns may not be accepted.

At My Secret Corner, each piece is selected or made with care, and orders are confirmed once a deposit is received.
We do not accept returns or refunds for:

As product images, descriptions, and measurements are provided clearly online, we encourage all customers to review them carefully before purchase.
Once a deposit is paid, it is strictly non-refundable, as it confirms your order and secures or initiates production.
Holding Deposit & Pre-Order Terms
In some cases, we may require a non-refundable holding deposit to lock in stock or confirm pre-order items. This amount forms part of your total 50% order deposit.
Once your items arrive at our warehouse, we’ll notify you to complete the remaining payment.
If full payment is not received within 10 days, the order may be cancelled and the deposit forfeited to cover handling, processing, and storage costs.
If you’re unable to accept delivery immediately, we can store your order for a monthly storage fee, depending on item size and volume.
Please ensure all order details are correct before confirming and making your deposit.

We use professional couriers to ensure your furniture is transported with care.
Please note:

Standard delivery includes ground-level doorstep only.

Indoor delivery is available at an additional charge.

My Secret Corner is not liable for property damage (e.g., to walls or floors) during optional indoor delivery.

Once delivery is completed, any new damage or scratches become the customer’s responsibility.
Delivery fees vary depending on distance, item size, and market rates. All quotes are estimates and may adjust at the time of delivery.
Assembly
Most items arrive factory-assembled. For products requiring setup (such as beds or dining sets), customers are responsible for arranging assembly.
Professional assembly can be organised upon request for an additional service fee, depending on complexity.
Order Cancellations

Free cancellation is available within 24 hours of placing your order.

Once an order has been processed, shipped, or production has begun, cancellations are treated as a change of mind return and subject to the above conditions.
Restocking and Return Fees
- A 20% restocking fee will apply
- The customer is responsible for the return delivery cost
- The customer must also repay the original delivery fee (if waived or subsidised)
Returned items must be in original condition and packaging.
Exchanges

All exchange postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

The fastest way to receive a new item is to return the current one (once approved) and place a new order for the desired product.
No Return on Sale Items
All discounted or sale items are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Damaged Goods & Faulty Products

All items are thoroughly checked before dispatch.

If your order arrives faulty or damaged, please notify us by email within 24 hours of delivery or acceptance.

Damaged goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery/acceptance.

Installed or used goods are not eligible for return or exchange. Installation will be treated as acceptance of the product.

If your claim is approved, we will provide a free replacement and reimburse your return postage.

Warranty matters are managed directly by the product’s supplier, as each brand has different terms. We can assist in contacting the supplier if needed.

Some items may need to be sent to the manufacturer or repair agent for assessment before a remedy is approved.

Refund, repair, or replacement may be refused if:

The product has been substantially modified;

The product has been misused; or

The return request falls outside ACL obligations.
