My Secret Corner – Refund, Return & Exchange Policy
At My Secret Corner, we take pride in offering quality furniture and home décor. Please read our policy carefully before placing an order.
Guarantee of Damages During Delivery:
We are committed to ensuring your satisfaction with your purchase. In the event of any of the following issues, we will replace the item or process a return if the problem cannot be resolved:
- Your product was damaged during delivery to your home.
- The item or material used in the product is under warranty.
Return Instructions: Please adhere to all return instructions sent to your registered email address. All returns must be coordinated through Customer Service and return it in 14 days after the received date. Do not return or post items without obtaining instructions from us first. Unidentified returns may not be accepted.
Change of Mind Returns

We offer refunds or exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order if you change your mind.

Proof of purchase is required for all returns, refunds, and exchanges.

A 20% restocking fee applies to all change-of-mind returns.

All return shipping costs and the original delivery costs are the customer’s responsibility.

For orders with free shipping, the actual shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Returned items must be unused, in original packaging, in resalable condition, and with all labels intact. Installed or used products will not be accepted.

For fragile items, returns must include delivery insurance.
Order Cancellations

Free cancellation is available within 24 hours of placing your order.

Once an order has been processed or dispatched, cancellations will be treated as a change of mind return and subject to the conditions above.
Non-Refundable & Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned or refunded (unless required under ACL):

Custom or made-to-order furniture (e.g. customised vanities, special finishes).

Large items (e.g. baths, vanities, mirrors, appliances).

Personal-use items (e.g. bedding, pillows, underwear, swimwear, socks).

Consumables (e.g. water bottles, food, vitamins, health products).

Gift cards, clearance goods, and customised items (e.g. personalised furniture).

Deposits are strictly non-refundable.

All sales of non-refundable goods are final.
Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law
You are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if:

The product is faulty or defective.

The product does not perform as described.
-
The incorrect item was supplied.

Or if otherwise required under Australian Consumer Law.
Exchanges

All exchange postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.

A 20% restocking fee may apply on exchanges.

The fastest way to receive the item you want is to return your current item (once approved) and place a new order for the desired product.
Damaged Goods & Faulty Products

All items are thoroughly checked before dispatch.

If your order arrives faulty or damaged, you must notify us by email within 24 hours of delivery/acceptance.

Damaged goods must be returned within 14 days of delivery/acceptance.

Installed goods are not eligible for return or exchange. Installation will be treated as acceptance of the product.

If the claim is accepted, we will provide a free replacement and reimburse your return postage.

Warranty matters are managed directly by the product’s supplier. Each brand has different warranty terms. Please contact us if you need assistance contacting the supplier.

Some items may need to be sent to the manufacturer or repair agent for assessment before a remedy is approved.

Refund, repair, or replacement may be refused if:

The product has been substantially modified;

The product has been misused; or
-
The return request falls outside of ACL obligations.

Pre-Orders

If your order (or part of it) is on back order or delayed due to being temporarily out of stock:

We will ship any additional back order free of charge.

You may request a split delivery free of charge.

You may cancel your back order at any stage prior to shipping (except for made-to-order items).

We will provide you with status updates on your pre-order so you can make an informed decision.

Please note: All pre-orders of large items (e.g. large cat trees, furniture) are treated as made-to-order and are therefore non-refundable.
